Celebrate Sam Bell Maxey House’s 188th Birthday with Easter Egg Decorating

Paris Main Street is hosting Easter Egg Decorating at the Sam Bell Maxey House on March 30th from 10am to 2pm. Families are invited to decorate Easter eggs together – all materials needed for decorating will be supplied. Along with decorating Easter eggs, families will be able to play and participate in a variety of lawn games around the grounds such as badminton and checkers. Children and adults can also decorate their own Easter bonnets and hats. At 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM, children can participate in an egg roll, while at 11:00 AM everyone on site will be invited to celebrate Sam Bell Maxey’s 188th birthday! Tours of the historic house will be offered at 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, and 11:30 AM. All grounds activities are free, but admission will be charged for tours of the historic house.
