Chili’s of Paris Raises Money For St. Jude
“St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made here have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today’s most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly.” On Sunday September 22, 2013 Chili’s of Paris, Texas kicked of a campaign of charitable kindness. The crew was warm and welcoming as people from all over the area joined in raising funds for St. Jude. Many local bands including Blues Drivers, Rabbit’s Foot, Draggin Man Band, The Tambourine Machine, East of Azle, and Jeremy Phifer graced the stage in support of the cause. T-shirts and slap braclets were for sale with all proceeds going to the charity. With pocketbooks open, attendants stuffed dollars into the collection and collectively made a sizeable donation. Chili’s manager Roger Courson once again stepped up to the plate as countless employees and individuals lined up to smash a cream pie in his face for $5. Imagine getting the chance to smear your boss for just $5 bux!!! All proceeds raised throughout the day went to St. Jude, and we were right in the middle of it all. Enjoy the pictures!
Special thanks to Brenda Cruz for inviting us along.
