Crosswire’s Open Mic Continues With Success
Crosswire hosted another open mic night! We arrived in time to catch a talented young lady named Taylor Marie sing beautiful original songs like “Inprint”. She was followed by a plethora of talented musicians like Ryan Booth with his rendition of “Small Town Saturday Night”, and Pearl Jam’s “Black”. An awesome trio called Austin Nate & Rain entertained the patrons with their unique version of Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby”. Trever Carico sang “Mama Rock Me”. Nate Sandoval wowed the audience with a version of “It’s Been a While” by Staind. We had to dance to Caleb Michael doing “Come Pick Me Up” by Ryan Adams. Dakota Jackson played his floor filling cover of Garth Brook’s “Friends In Low Places”. He was then joined by Rags to do “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” by The Rolling Stones. Rags did a solo of a few covers my favorite being The Rolling Stone’s “Send Me Dead Flowers”. The Crosswire Club seemed to have an energy floating about as the music washed over its lively members. The Open Mic Night keeps growing every week, and we hope Crosswire keeps bringing this awesome musical talent to the stage!
