Fallen To Play Paris Live Open Mic LIVE Concert July 21st
Another fan favorite of Paris, Texas will be performing at the upcoming Paris Live Open Mic LIVE Concert at Buffalo Joe’s Pub. Fallen will be taking the stage on July 21st and it will be a show you won’t want to miss! We had a chance to interview David Crossland, drummer and back-up vocalist/screamer of Fallen and here is how it went!
InParisTexas: How long have you been playing?
Fallen: Let me think here. With the current line-up, we’ve been together 10 months. But the three of us have been together about 2 years.
InParisTexas: Has music always been a passion?
Fallen: Absolutely! Me personally, I fell in love with music when I was in 5th-6th grade. It was drums straight from the get go!
InParisTexas: What do you like about playing in Paris?
Fallen: The biggest thing is you get to see your old friends and new friends. It’s a different feeling when you look out across the crowd and see people you know.
InParisTexas: How do you think the music community in Paris is?
Fallen: That’s a tough one…I think that as long as everyone helps out and keeps in mind it’s not a competition, if we all help each other out, it will only get better.
InParisTexas: And do you have anything special planned for your performance in Paris in July at the Paris Live Open Mic Concert?
InParisTexas: How would you describe your music?
Fallen: It’s hard rock music definitely. When we sit down and write songs, I’d like to think we don’t limit ourselves to a certain style. We have softer stuff to heavier stuff. It’s what we are feeling at the time. And when you write about the same thing, you limit yourself. If you do that, you get burned out.
InParisTexas: Will there be any merchandise for people at the July concert?
Fallen: Yeah, there will be CDs, posters, and stickers.
Thank you David Crossland of Fallen. We are looking forward to your performance at the Paris Live Open Mic LIVE Concert “It All Came From the Blues”!
Remember that proceeds will go towards the Paris Blues Society Scholarship Fund. 8 musical acts from noon to ten p.m. that night. You will not want to miss this one of a kind musical gathering! Send your RSVP on Facebook for this concert, that is just 11 days away!
