First Baptist Church of Paris: Elyon Festival October 29th
First Baptist Church of Paris is holding Elyon Festival on October 29th, as an alternative to the traditional trick ‘r’ treating that goes on around Halloween. At Elyon Festival, there will be candy, games, food, giveaways, bounce houses, Trunk-or-Treat… which adds up to Fun for the Family. This event is slated to run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the Saturday before Halloween. Kids ages 0 to 12 can participate in the kids activities.
The public is welcome to attend. Along with the games, there will be prizes, food & refreshments for sale, and a finger printing by CrimeStoppers. There will also be a costume contest for two age groups: 5 and under, and 6 to 12. There will be 32 booths at this year’s Elyon Festival. First Baptist Church of Paris has not held this event since the year before last. It will be behind Family Life Center, in the big parking lot.
Elyon or El Elyon means God most high in biblical Hebrew. El Elyon is a positive family-friendly alternative of Halloween for the whole community!
