Heather Roberts Has a Second Round at Crosswire

The Heather (HeRo) Roberts Band has been burning up the Texas scene with their melodic southern sound. On Saturday November 2nd, 2013, the gang made their return to the Crosswire stage for a night of good times. Anxious fans filled the club, waiting for show and while Heather & the boys were gearing up for an unforgettable performance. Kenny Clark of 104.3 made introductions and with an electrifying strum of the strings, the four piece fired up the first set. Throughout the night we heard familiar tunes like “Free Falling” by Tom Petty, and a tasty rendition of “You and I” by Lady GaGa. Before the second set began, Super Dave and I jumped up on stage to re-introduce the band and hold a (longest ride) competition with the prize going to Mr. McCoay with a time of 18.40!

The band’s original music projects a mash-up up southern rooted influence. Heather’s current single “Mama Didn’t Raise No Fool”, has been climbing the Texas charts and absorbing HERO fans along the way. We look forward to hearing some of the new recorded material like “Who Do You Think You Are” slated for a 2014 release. Paris, Texas always has a place for the Heather Roberts Band and can’t wait to have them back soon.
