As Texans we pride ourselves in our rich history and western lifestyle. Local author Jim H. Ainsworth has been keeping this spirit alive with stories from his ancestral past. On February 2, 2013 Hastings of Paris, Texas welcomed the public for a book signing with this amazing writer. Author of many glimpses into his personal past including “Home Light Burning”, “Rivers Ebb”, and current release “Go Down Looking”, Jim has offered an insightful peek into the days of yesteryear. Taking us back to the day of the horse drawn wagon, his book “Biscuits on the Brazos” recalls a memorable journey across Texas.
