John Grigsby Returns to Rock the Depot
This Article Brought To You By:
As the weekend gets closer, the Depot in Paris, Texas warms up with live Thursday night music. On January 3rd, 2013 the spotlight was directed at Singer/Songwriter John Grigsby. Making his recent return from Nacogdoches to Paris, John felt right at home and he poured out his rocked out musical recipe. As everyone enjoyed the comfy atmosphere and bubbly refreshments of the Depot, John performed nostalgic tunes that we all remember like “Hold Me Now” by Thompson Twins, “Possum Kingdom” by Toadies, and “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green. His “That’ll Play” attitude towards his art produces melodic original material conjured from his array of influences and life experiences. “Slow Down”, “Truth vs. Happiness”, and “Spruce Grove” are among the many pieces John Grigsby has put on paper. We would like to welcome John back to Paris, Texas and urge you to check him out at his next on-stage appearance.
