July 2012 Paris Blues Society Blues Jam at Buffalo Joe’s
The Paris Blues Society’s Monthly Blues Jam was a sweltering blister of the blues! Buffalo Joe’s has been hosting the monthly gathering over the summer and welcomed blues lovers all around to the festivities. Among the many amazing musicians performing at this installment were Chad Altenbaumer, Chris Lancaster, Staley Rogers, Bill Allen, Bert Hussey, Paul Ray Spencer, Leddy & Levi Carder, and Paul Denney. The guys blasted out songs like “Red Headed Woman”, “Red House”, “Tore Down, and “Sitting on Top of the World”. The PBS is an organization dedicated to the people, life and music that derives from the blues. It is always a treat to witness the talent that spills from members of this community minded club. We look forward to the next monthly mix of the blues at Buffalo Joe’s.
