Lamar County Humane Association Receives $1000 Petco Foundation Prize

Petco of Paris, Texas presented Alicia Myrick of the Lamar County Humane Association a check for $1000.00 from the Petco Foundation today. The money is for the care of the feline companions that Petco helps to adopt by giving them a place in the store in front of consumers looking to adopt. Petco does not sell cats and dogs, but works closely with the Lamar County Humane Association to help adoptable pets find homes. Alicia will use the funds she received to help the offset costs associated with the feeding and care of the homeless cats of Paris and the surrounding area.
There is a chance that the Lamar County Humane Association could receive a $10,000 donation from the Petco Foundation but to do so they need your help.
