Local Music Alive and Kicking at Club Ice
Club Ice is keeping it real! With all of the local and regional hip hop artists around, this place has got it down. Tremendous talent dominated the stage on Saturday July, 7th 2012. The weekend after the 4th was in full effect.
First up was Don Perrion. This guy hit the stage solo and blew up the mic with his original tracks like “Ima Get Out”, “Cash On Deck”. And new song “This is the Triple D”. Next was a “903” representing artist going by “Yung Tyson”. He introduced his newest cut called “Every Day Hustler”. Third up was a couple of Paris Texas Favorites. Leck and J-Rec shared the limelight to introduce their newest masterpieces entitled “25 Bows” & “Blake Griffin”. In the supporting slot was a talented young lady going by “Butter”. Her ability to keep the crowd moving was phenomenal. She took complete control over the mic and showed P-Town how DFW swings. The most impressive song from her set seemed to be “Team Butter Go Hard”. The headliner of the evening took his time getting to the stage and was no disappointment. Big Chief & company electrified Club Ice with an earthquake. The entire club rushed the stage to see what this Dallas based performer had in store and were blown away.
