“Modern Times” at Movies in the Park

Movies in the Park has proven to be the most entertaining ongoing event of the season. This week’s cinematic installment was a different selection than what we are used to. Modern Times by Charlie Chaplin is a silent comedy written in 1936. The antics and storyline will intrigue even the youngest of minds. The ever popular motion picture starring Charlie Chaplin, Paulette Goddard, Henry Bergman, Stanley Sandford, and Chester Conklin, is a timeless hilarious classic. “Modern Times is often hailed as one of Chaplin’s greatest achievements, and it remains one of his most popular films.” Bywaters Park was full of spectators anxious to experience the comical nostalgia of this one of a kind film.

Before the presentation a vote was taken again for the viewer’s choice, and “Real Steel” moved on to the next week!

Make sure you make it out to Movies in the Park for next week’s exciting showing of the Pixar favorite, “Finding Nemo”. This is going to be the biggest title of the season with so many Nemo fans out there it is sure to be full of movie magic under the stars.
