Remember how we used to party? Crosswire in has re-introduced night life and LIVE music to Paris, Texas! Old Miller Sideshow along with Britt Phillips carved their names into the stage as everyone gathered for Country Music madness.
Opening the show was a local boy by the name of Britt Phillips. I brought him up on stage informing every one of his fresh out of OSU road to perusing musical passion. This guy tore up the six-string as he powered through a handful of the greats like “Yesterday Road” by The Great Divide, “Flash Flood” by Randy Rogers, and even a melodic original song entitled “Don’t Give Up On Me”. Britt keeps the familiar spirit of music alive in knowing that there are amazing musicians springing up from the local sunlit sidewalk.
The crowd was pumped up as I was privileged to introduce one of the hottest groups in the area to Crosswire. It has been a while since we have witnessed Trey & the boys rock out. Gabe Moore keeps the low end thumping as Dakota Miller locks in with every note. Aaron Olds shreds on his Telecaster bringing that rich bright tone as Trey Rosenthal governs the rhythm & vocals with dynamism and grace. Among the killer numbers performed were “Midnight Rider” by Allman Brothers, and “Kiss Me in the Dark” by Randy Rogers. Old Miller Sideshow truly shines when it comes to originality. We look forward to their upcoming release including tracks like “Give You a Ring”, and “Burn One Down”. You can bet that InParistexas.com & Paris Live Open Mic will follow these guys all the way!
