Parent Week at Watkins Family Martial Arts Academy

This Article Brought To You By:

Watkins Family Martial Arts Academy in Paris, Texas is the hottest spot this fall! Whether you are looking for a fun fulfilling activity, looking to get in shape, wanting to develop some self-esteem or discipline this family oriented academy is perfect for you! The friendly instructors and state of the art building have set the bar when it comes to Martial Arts in North East Texas.

The first week of October has been dubbed “Parent Week”! This gives parents a chance to be involved with the class and get an idea of how to help their children along as they progress in the Watkins System. My son Gavin has been enrolled for a few months and his listening skills, discipline, and physical condition has noticeably improved. I had the chance to get involved with his class during Parent Week and experience the class from the mat rather than the bench. Clayton Watkins instructed us on proper punching & kicking techniques as well as muscle use and bone alignment. There is so much more to Watkins Family Martial Arts Academy than karate. When you walk through the doors you get a sense of belonging and a feeling of assurance that your child is in the right place to absorb all that Martial Arts has to offer.
