The Paris music scene is alive as Spring rolls in. The Paris Blues Society invited everyone to attend “Blue Thursday” once again at Buffalo Joe’s. Hold the jam inside, musicians from all over the area signed up for a chance behind the speakers. The place was packed with blues lovers and Buffalo Joe’s kept the refreshments ice cold. Among the many to perform were Chad Altenbaumer, Chris Lancaster, Ben Alsup, Bill Allen, Paul Denney, Paul Ray Spencer, Bert Hussey, Micheal Huggins, and many more familiar blues buffs. If you have the chops, jump up on stage and plug in! Whether its bass, harp, guitar, or drums that you get your kicks from, this is one jam you have got to check out. The Paris Blues Society is a blessing to our scene as they keep the spirit of music alive throughout the generations. With the monotony of our daily world, who wouldn’t want to catch a case of the blues?
Join us next month at Buffalo Joe’s for another installment of the best of the best in our area when it comes to live music.
