Paris Junior College Hosting Reception for Representative George Lavender
Lamar County residents are invited to attend a reception at Paris Junior College to introduce Representative George Lavender on Thursday, June 28. Recent redistricting added Lamar, Red River and Franklin counties to the district of Representative Lavender, which already contained Bowie County. “This reception will provide an excellent opportunity for local residents to meet Representative Lavender and become better acquainted with him,” said PJC President, Dr. Pam Anglin.
The event will be held from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the Bobby Walters Workforce Training Center Room 1202 at the PJC campus. For more information about the event, call 903-785-7661.
