Three Brothers Drathouse is gaining popularity and being coined as the place to go for incredible live music! On December 20th, 2012 the place was primed for a night with the hottest new country act to hit our scene. Parker Heights has a growing fan base in the lower states due to their unmatchable approach to original music. Their Texas twist of Classic Country meets Red Dirt Rock will have you zipping around the dance floor. The legacy started in Coldsprings Texas and wound up in the heart of College Station. With Dusty Samford on Lead Vocal/Acoustic Guitar/Harmonica, Jessie Samford singing Lead Vocal/Mandolin, Colby Samford working Back-up Vocals/Lead Guitar, and Corey Samford banging Drums, Parker Heights is bonded in blood and ready to take the party wherever they go!
We were blown away by the performance at The Drafthouse. Among the triple set of harmonious tunes were “Broken” by Evanescence, “Copperhead Road” by Steve Earle, and a melodic version of “If We Ever Make It Home” by Wade Bowen. When it comes to original material, Parker Heights put their souls into every word and chord. Their self-titled album includes 6 amazing back-road riding tracks including current hit on Paris Live Open Mic entitled “With You Tonight”. With newer numbers in the making, be on the lookout for their next release in 2013! Tune in Wednesday night at 8pm to www.parislive.org for your chance to win a Parker Heights CD/T-Shirt Prize Pack on Paris live Open Mic.
