Peristyle Re-Dedication

The City of Paris celebrated the Ribbon Cutting and Rededication of the Peristyle at Bywaters Park on Sunday May 20th 2012. The gorgeous park was full of Parisians participating in the festivities. The beautiful weather was just right for a picnic with friends and family. The newly finished 1931 Corinthian peristyle mimics the unique style of a Grecian temple. The park provides an excellent setting for the Paris Municipal Band’s summer concerts, weddings and our annual Winter Wonderland. The park is also a memorial to victims of the 1982 tornado.
