Petco’s October Guinea Pig-palooza

This Article Brought To You By:

Petco has been a national pinnacle in many aspects of pet care. Every time we visit our local Petco store in Paris, Texas we get a sense of home. The staff is always inviting and informative as they focus on animal wellness and customer comfort. On October 13th & 14th, 2012 Paris Petco opened its doors to the public as they introduced Guinea Pig Palooza! Animal lovers from all over the area flocked to the store to learn about the Guinea Pig and what great pets that they make. Attendants were encouraged to bring their own Guinea Pig to show off as well. After meeting the Guinea Pig, we went outside to visit with the Lamar County Humane Association as they were set up to find new families for the many homeless animals in their shelter. The Lamar County Humane Association was recently awarded 10,000 from the Petco Foundation and is on their way to becoming a 10% kill rate shelter. We also met with two amazing kids that have sacrificed summertime fun with friends to volunteer at the shelter. Laura and Rusten Clark are two of the most selfless young people in our community. We are excited to announce that IPT will be interviewing them and acknowledging their contributions in the very near future!

Petco is where the pets go…

Stop by the Lamar County Humane Association and find your next addition to the family!
