Run for a Cure and Bark for Life on June 2nd

First Federal Community Bank’s Relay for Life team the EXCELerator will be sponsoring a 5k Run, 2 Mile Walk and a 1 Mile Kids Fun Run, which will all take place under the Pavilion at the Love Civic Center and Trail de Paris on June 2nd. There is a $25 registration fee for 5k runners and the 2 mile walk and each paid participant will receive a free t-shirt! The 1 mile kids fun run is free for ages 10 and under (Parents MUST be present the day of the run and a registration form MUST be filled out for each child to participate)

The race starts @ 8:00 for 5k runners, the 2 mile walkers start at 8:10, and the 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 9 a.m.

Snacks and bottled water will be available to all runners/walkers, and a Bounce house will be provided for the children. This is a timed event. There is a timing chip company coming from out of town!

You can sign up at www.active.com or you can come by First Federal and pick up a registration form.

• Men: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd
• 2 mile walkers:
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd overall

On that same day and at the same place, Paris Regional Medical Center will be hosting Bark For Life,a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of our Canine Caregivers on June 2nd.Every family, co-worker, friend, or community member who has been close to a cancer experience and has a dog in their life, is invited to support the American Cancer Society by registering and fundraising through the Bark For Life.

Registration for each dog is $10….$5 for each additional dog of owner.You can register that day at 9:30am at the Love Civic Center Pavilion.

ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH!
