Six Bullet Roulette, Silent Coup, and Trust Not Rock Crosswire
Six Bullet Roulette has been a bolt of electricity since their return back home from recording with Producer/Engineer Guru, Alex Gerst. Crosswire got a dose of the voltage on August 3rd 2012 as they hosted an amazing three band rock show. Kicking off the night of distortion was a brutal band by the name of “Trust Not”. The powerful 4 member ensemble from Tyler, Texas has been together for 6 months and has only begun to blast onto the scene. They gave Paris, Texas a high-energy melodic metal performance. Original songs like “Dark Huntings”, “Love Hate”, and “Into the Grave” set the mood for a night of guitar driven madness!
Next up was local Stomp-Rock/Alternative band called “Silent Coup”. These guys have erupted on the scene since the release of their latest album entitled “Grow”. Introduced by Chad Lindsey of My Rock 96.5, the 3 piece group consisting of Ryan Trahan, Robbie Gunn, and Ryan Midey pumped out original rock infused tunes like “H-n-H”, “Sugar & Spikes”, and “$50 a Day”. Trahan passed the vocals on to Gunn and the guys ended their dynamite set with a tribute to past band mates (Doug Drysdale, Jok Starkey, & Josh Flanery) called “Seeds”. Silent Coup will be returning to the studio for the next documentation of their original power 3 potions in the fall.
The headliner of the night brought on the head-banging refreshment that Crosswire was thirsty for! With Billy White on skins, Aaron Davenport shredding guitar, Dakota Jackson thumping the low end and Daniel Joe Hayes fronting the band on vocals, Six Bullet Roulette is an inferno of speaker melting metal. Everyone gathered as Chad Lindsey called individuals out of their seat to the front of the stage for what was to be a musical firestorm. 6BR had their game face on as they energized Paris with a set of wicked wonderment. Songs like “Think it Over”, “Indestructible”, and “Before I Ever Knew” sent pulses of electrified anarchy throughout the club. Six Bullet Roulette brought out the bass driven brutality as they carved their name in the walls of Crosswire. Look for a tasty treat from them as they will be releasing a 3-song masterpiece coming in the very near future.
