Thieves of Sunrise Jam at Three Brothers Drafthouse

This Article Brought To You By:

The music seems to seep from Three Brother Drafthouse! On Friday August 31st, 2012 Thieves of Sunrise set up for a night of musical madness. Hailing from Dallas, Texas this powerful 4 piece ensemble has proven to be one of the most unique “Texas Red Dirt” movement collaborations. Each member has many eclectic influences ranging from the styles of The Black Crowes & Muddy Waters to Cross Canadian Ragweed & Gram Parsons. Their sound sends out a rock feel, infused with country and the blues. Among the many original tunes played throughout the 3 part set were “Cursed Words”, “American Dream” and a new song called “The End”. Our favorite cover of the night was a 20 min long version of “Hard to Handle” by The Black Crowes. Thieves of Sunrise had a blast on stage giving everyone a dose of good times and the Drafthouse was alive with the spirit of music.
