Christmas time is drawing near! Shoppers from miles around flocked to the Love Civic Center for the 2012 Tinsel & Tidings celebration. Over 120 vendors with everything from purses & custom hand molding to roasted corn on the cob & jewelry were on hand to bring in the Holiday cheer. The weather was perfect for Christmas treasure hunting, pony rides, and tasty treats. Children lined up, eager to give Santa their wish list and have a photo taken. Carson & Barnes Circus had a mini train full of smiling faces as it chugged along. The Lamar County Humane Association corralled their K-9 cuties as well in hopes of finding forever families. With the smell of kettle corn & turkey legs in the air we buzzed about soaking in the fun-filled festivities and bringing them to you in photos.
