Twisted Pistols Shoot Out the Lights at Crosswire

Gracing the stage for the first time, the Twisted Pistols showed Paris, Texas how to party! The talented 4 piece country/rock band plugged in for a night of Texas tunes. “Twisted Pistols have come up with their own twisted sound with original lyrics to create their own brand of Southern Rock & Roll Country Music that any Texas Music or Red Dirt Music lover would want to hear.” So it was no surprise that the crowd absorbed every minute of their two-part set. Among the list of songs performed were familiars like “Folding Money” by Radney Foster, and a sweet rendition of “Wanna Rock and Roll” by Ray Wiley Hubbard. These guys had a little something for everyone. Their Originals shine a light on the bands influence of the south. Hit single “Beer Store” had been climbing the Texas and Regional charts but our favorite was an original ballad called “Stay”. Keep your ears aimed at Twisted Pistols as they make their way down the back roads of today’s music scene.
